Globalization?

How far are we really from a one world dominion of the lawless one?

Economic crash is inevitable, stores are closing, jobs are being lost, state revenue fails to be brought in, state and federal jobs are being lost, and health benefits are being lost. There is Mideast turmoil and the increasing propaganda of imminent terrorism and bio-warfare.

Result: fear and submission to a man-made solution. Esau sold his birth-right for a morsel of food.

Where does the lawless one begin? - With our children. How do we not realize that we have literally handed them over to the heathen as a self proclamation that we can do as we wish, but all in the name of Jesus. The Lord has entrusted our children to us. As parents our first ministry and responsibility is to train these children up in the ways of the Lord. This ministry, this responsibility encompasses every aspect of our lives; but we sacrificed them to the altars of the American dream of a better life, whether it is a house, or a car, schooling, food, education, or materialism. I know I almost lost my teenagers this way; little did I realize that this pursuit only leads to death and a separation between us and our children. The Lord did not intend this for us. This is His desire:

Psalm 34:18 - The Lord is nigh unto them that are a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Isaiah 66:1-4 - Thus saith the Lord, the Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? And where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath my hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

If only we under stood:

Mark 8:34-37 - And when we had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it. For what shall it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

If we were to be content with all that we have and not with what we want:

Philipians 4:11-13 - Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

So why do both parents need to work? Even multiple jobs? All we really need to do is put our full trust in the Lord for all our provisions. He knows our needs.

Matthew 6:31-34 - Therefore take no thought, saying, shall we eat? Or, What shall we drink? Or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Philippians 3:8-9 - Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them dung, that I may win Christ, And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

Now the school system is indoctrinating our children with tolerance of all religions and life-styles, that there are no absolutes, and that life and death are in the hand of our rights and choices, not the rights and choices of the unheard and helpless ones. Also, the schools subtlety teaches social justice as a goal to attain. It teaches redistribution of wealth and fairness in all things. It takes the focus off of Christ and the gospel message, that we should do good deeds for the sake of the poor and helpless, but not by the blood of the Lamb and Christ’s death and resurrection. It is the youth of the nation that the world will use to usher in the one-world order and the religion of globalization without Jesus Christ. And this will not be done by force but by people willing to sell their birthright for a morsel of bread and the American dream. (Hebrews 12:17-18)
